A very appealing hybrid. Neat, upright growth to 1.5m. Rosy red medium sized bracts from autumn through winter which develop a contrasting, prominent cream centre over early spring. Long stems - good picking. Striking. Good drainage & sun. Usually frost hardy.

'Silver Tree'. Wonderful taller specimen (to 8m) with magical soft, silver-green foliage that shimmers in the wind. Fast growing in the right conditions and can be hard pruned to keep to shrub size.  Frost tender when young. Good drainage essential.

Broad, soft yellow bracts flushed with red with golden-yellow fluffy central flowers in spring. Foliage colourful throughout year. Broad, bushy growth, 1.5m x 1.5m. Nice for picking and garden display. Easily grown in most well-drained, sunny positions. Medium frost hardy.

A 1996 release. Large, broad bracts of bright, plum red deepen to a glowing, wine-red over winter.  Like a brighter, more compact version of 'Safari Sunset' (& from the same stable), and without the ultra-vigorous tall habit. 1.5m max. height. Neat habit. Responds well to hard pruning. An outstanding, showy garden plant. Usually frost hardy.

A large, dense, bushy shrub to 2.5 x 2.5m. Excellent background, shelter, screening, etc. Long stems with reddish-brown cones - winter/spring. Nice backing for floral work, also dries well. Wind and frost hardy most areas.

An attractive, low, compact plant of up to 70 -80cm. Cherry-red flowers are surrounded by dainty yellow bracts during spring. Suits well drained soils in full sun and is reasonably frost hardy.

Released in 2001. Select form of Ld Discolor, noted for its large creamy bracts surrounding the reddish topped cluster of flowers. Requires well drained soils in full sun.Cut back to shape after flowering. Reasonably frost tolerant once established.

Taller, erect habit to 2m.  Distinctive silvery foliage with a slight twist.  Numerous lemon yellow bracts with silver cones are carried on long stems throughout spring into early summer. Excellent picking. Tolerant of coastal winds. Fairly frost hardy once established.

A L. stelligerum variant. Medium sized, deep yellow, wide open bracts edged red, flushed bronze and with yellow central flowers in spring. Like exotic daisies! Neat, dense growth to 1m or less. Very showy & lovely for picking (stems are often multi-headed). Light to medium frosts.

Our best selling & most reliable yellow leucadendron. Medium sized bracts of rich golden yellow edged with crimson and with red stems - winter. A nice picker with good stem length & excellent vase life. Bushy habit, 1.5m. Stands (and benefits from) hard pruning. Frost hardy in most districts.
