(T. 'Hybrida') A cross between the N.S.W. & Victorian  'Waratahs'. A hardy, free-flowering and more easily grown Waratah. (If you can¹t grow this one, you can't grow any of them!) Large, crimson, domed flowers on long stems - October, but with occasional autumn flowers. Vigorous & bushy to 3m+. Stands very hard pruning - desirable to keep it bushy (best done straight after flowering) Good picking & garden display. Usually frost hardy in most districts.


TW02 T. SPECIOSISSIMA 'DAWN FIRE'  $19.50
   

A selected form with particularly good cut flower characteristics. A neat, scarlet-red, medium-sized, domed head on long stems, early in the season. Heavily serrated foliage. Frost hardy most areas. PVR

Released in '98. A selected mid-season Waratah with smaller to medium-sized scarlet flowers very suitable as a cut flower. Sun or partial shade. To 3m. Med.hardy.     PVR

The unique creamy-white waratah is quite a striking contrast to the red flowered forms. Flowers need to be protected from wind and frost at time of development. A sheltered position in either full sun or filtered light is required, in free draining soil.
